What is E-Business? E-Marketing? E-Commerce?
Our first session in the module was focused
on introducing and clarifying the differences between e-business, e-marketing &
e-commerce. Also, we have been instructed to create a website of
health & wellness and a blog to follow up the stages of learning.
The idea of creating a new website thrilled my mind as I get to choose my
product, my website layout, and designs. This has made it a great exciting
start to the module for me and my colleagues. I and my classmates on this
session have competed on who will create the best website out of the group
(let's wait & see).
E-business?
The administration of conducting business via the internet. This would include the buying and selling of goods and services, along with providing technical or customer support through the Internet.
E-Marketing?
Also known as Internet Marketing, Web Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Online Marketing. E-marketing is the process of marketing a product or service using the Internet. E-Marketing not only includes marketing on the Internet but also includes marketing done via e-mail and wireless media. It uses a range of technologies to help connect businesses to their customers.
E-commerce?
The activity of buying or selling of products on online services or over the Internet. Electronic commerce draws on technologies such
as mobile commerce, electronic
funds transfer, supply chain
management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems.
